What Latitude stores
Latitude stores account email addresses, display names, family membership, check-in records, topics and boards, wall posts, notes, wins, growth areas, agreements, freedom requests, consequences, expectations, prayer focuses, child profiles, and invite codes — the content a family adds to run its shared workspace.
Children's accounts
Kids' accounts are created and managed by a parent. Children under 13 can only use Latitude within a family workspace their parent controls; parents choose what each child can see and can remove a child's account and content at any time. Latitude collects no more information from children than the family itself enters. We do not show ads to anyone, and never to children.
How families use it
Family members in the same workspace see shared family content. Parents-only wall posts and parent notes are visible only to parent accounts, protected by application permissions and enforced again at the data layer. There is no location tracking, message reading, web filtering, or screen-time surveillance anywhere in the product.
What Latitude is not
Latitude is not a medical, therapy, emergency, or crisis service. Families should use local emergency resources or qualified professionals for urgent safety, mental health, legal, or medical concerns.
Selling and sharing
We do not sell family data. We do not use family content for advertising. Our analytics are first-party, cookieless, and structural — they never contain the content of what your family writes. Data access is limited to operating, securing, supporting, and improving the service.
Export and deletion
Any parent can download a complete archive of the family's data (readable JSON plus original photos) or permanently delete the account and every piece of content — self-service, from the "Family data & privacy" page inside the app, no support request needed. Deletion is immediate and irreversible, and also removes the family's analytics rows.
Parent responsibility
Parents and guardians are responsible for inviting family members, managing membership and roles, and choosing what information belongs in Latitude.
